Fire Apparatus Lost, And One Civilian Death On The Chelan Hills Fire In Washington.

The fire is now nearly 10,000 acres and 20% contained.

In the early morning hours of July 4th, the Chelan Hills Fire started and quickly became a very fast moving wildfire. There was a large local response, and shortly after ignition, a level 3 GO NOW evacuation was given for Box Canyon in Douglas County, Washington.
