On Today’s Show:
A new multi-year study on wildland firefighter injuries has been released. I cover this study in it’s entiretly.
It breaks down injuries by type, location, severity, and frequency. It breaks down which states and National Forests have the most injuries, where the most prescribed fire injuries happen, and a sobering conversation about risk appetite and injury acceptance.
The results may be surprising to some. They even cover injuries that occur in camp, staging, and project work… which statistically are more severe than fireline injuries.
I break it all down and cover the numbers.
