  • Georgia wildfires continue to make significant runs, destroying 47 homes and a tractor plow working the Highway 82 Fire.

  • Governor Kemp of Georgia has declared a State of Emergency, activating the State National Guard. Record drought continues, and burn bans have been issued across the state.

  • Cal Fire signed a massive $425M aviation contract for 3 years of coverage. The deal allows for a two-year extension.

  • NOAA says a Super El Niño is possible this summer. I cover what that means for this season, which is already seeing critical conditions in many areas.
