  • California’s power company PG&E starts shutting customers power off due to wildfire risk.

  • Currently, 100+ degrees across the state, and 3,000 without power around the new Thompson Fire.

  • Will shutting power off to thousands during heat waves help more?!

  • Bridger Aerospace CEO resigns. I spoke to former Bridger CEO and Montana Senate candidate Tim Sheehy today and asked about the resignation.

  • State Farm wants to raise California Home Insurance rates by another 30% after increases of 35% months ago.

  • State regulators want to cut a deal, saying they will more likely approve the request if the company's proposal blames climate change for the rate increase and expands coverage across the state.

  • They have also requested a 52% increase on renters.

  • A conversation about the season feeling slow. Both aviation folks and Team members have expressed a slow start.

  • Plus more.
