Congress Punts The Can Down The Road, Again…

Stopgap funding bill passed. Shutdown averted until March. Also, major position changes in the Forest Service.

Surprise surprise…. Congress has voted to fund the government until March, delaying any potential for a shutdown and further kicking the wildfire pay reform “can” down the road. It’s ironic how Congress calls the agency heads to testify on retention and recruitment issues, and then they act like this.
