Do pine trees make steroids?
Is it possible that the trees around us are secreting a performance enhancing drug? Remember when you were a kid and after you climbed out of the spring pollenated lake you had more energy than a hyaena puppy on illegal pre workout powder? Ya, me too. Ever wonder why it is that when you demob off a fire and get that first hotel shower at the Holiday Inn, you look super jacked? Why does Smokey the Bear look like he's two cycles in and not slowing down anytime soon? Well it may be because of Pine Trees.
I'm sure you're like me and have seen pictures of Sasquatch and thought "that things swoll!" I truly wouldn’t be surprised if there is a big foot gym buried deep in the Alaskan boreal. Those can’t be natural gains right? Now ask yourself, what do all these things have in common? (jacked Smokey, jacked sasquatch, jacked you, jacked Paul Bunyan} You all hang out in Pine trees all day.
Now, lets get down to some serious shit. What happens if you eat pine pollen? Is that something that people do? Thankfully there were some incredibly awesome nerds that asked those questions for us. What they discovered blew my mind and I think you'll be equally intrigued.
