Most everyone has heard about “camp crud”. We all know you can get run down during a hard roll and later in the season. One of the most asked questions I get is “how do I stay fit and ready through an entire season?”. Well, I have a homemade cider that can help keep your gut biome healthy and will jump start any morning on the fireline. It’s used almost like a tincture and one batch could probably last all summer if your crewmembers don’t poach it all.
I usually take a small tincture bottle with me on a fire roll. Take 1 teaspoon in the morning with a swig of water or pour over your fire dinner. The vinegar is good for your gut biome and blood sugar levels. Garlic is an immune booster with anti bacterial properties to help with infections. Ginger is great for digestion. Rosemary is good for circulation and has anti depressant properties. The Rosehips are an excellent source of Vitamin C.
Enjoy!
