Pilot miraculously lives.
Thousands of people have been evacuated across Alberta in the last week due to multiple wildfires burning in the area. A weather system brought abundant lighting and, with it, a large bust of new fires.
During operations near the town of Edson, a Type 3 helicopter crashed while attempting to land. Amazingly the pilot lived.
