How Yesterday's Executive Orders Will Affect The Wildfire Agencies.

Hiring, firing, return to work, DOGE review boards, and more.

On today’s show:

Today I cover the executive orders signed yesterday and how they will affect the wildfire agencies going forward.

These orders covered embedding Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employees into each agency, a hiring freeze for all non-public safety employees (upper management), the ability to fire Senior officials who don’t implement new policies, eliminating all DEI policies, mandates, and positions, reducing hiring time to under 80 days, hiring based on merit, and the return to work/duty station for all permanent employees.

There was a lot to dig through, but I provide details on how this will all be implemented and what these agencies can expect.
