When preparing for the fire season, there are the folks who do two a days and still think they are underprepared. They may be… However, the reason is perhaps that they are not getting enough rest. There are also people who hike once a week and think that’s enough. Again, it might be if they are also running and in the gym.
The point is, if your brain is telling you that you are underprepared, it doesn’t always mean the same thing. Check-in on your body, mind, and cardio and assess where you truly are at. Then you can make the proper adjustments.
On that note, let’s start Monday off right with a workout.
Find a good soundtrack or Podcast to get you through.
Start with dynamic stretching. Get loose and warm.
