Don’t skip it.
There are running crews, there are CrossFit crews, there are gym crews, and frisbee crews. But every crew hikes. Your legs are your money makers. Without a strong base you will struggle to maintain peak performance going in to the season.
This workout will get your legs ready for hiking any mountain and is easy to do anywhere you are.
Before you start drink a protein shake and a large glass of water at least 30 mins before the workout.
Start with a warm up 1.5 miles.
Begin slow and finish just below a sprint.
