Monday Morning Workout: It's Camp Crud Season, Stay Healthy.

This is the time of year when we start to see the beginnings of camp crud. If you don’t know, camp crud is when wildland firefighters start getting sick from lack of hygiene, lack of nutrition, and lack of sleep. It spreads quickly in the tight-knit community and makes life miserable heading into Snaptember.
So knowing that, remember that recovery workouts and sleep during time off are much more important than booze, donuts, and late-night partying… even though those can all be awesome. There’s plenty of time to do that in the winter… Keep up on cleanliness, hydration, electrolytes, and stretching while maintaining the fitness you worked so hard on during the Spring.
Find yourself a good podcast or soundtrack.
Get loose and do some dynamic stretching.
