Monday Morning Workout: Jump to it.
Not everyone is a morning person. Some people seem like they’re not even a “day” person.
Myself like many others have tricks to make mornings easier. Espresso, a good breakfast, a morning roll in the hay, and a good work out to get the blood flowing. Shake off that “case of the Mondays” and let’s “jump to it” and crush out this workout.
Make sure you’re well hydrated before the workout. I prefer a protein shake with a little caffeine as well.
Loosen up, dynamic stretch, and find some good music or a podcast.
If you can find a place outside to run 2 miles slowly. The days are getting colder so you might as well enjoy one of the remaining outside runs.
Stretch, find your breath again, and ensure you are ready to go… This is a warm up run.
