I have spoken with individuals with knowledge of the investigation into the camera found inside a wildfire shower unit. I provide all the updated details of the case and what is known. One of the major concerns for investigators and the Agency is whether this suspect has committed similar acts on other fires. Phones, hard drives, and computers were allegedly confiscated.
I also provide an update on a firefighter who was electrocuted while working on a wildfire in Oregon. The power company deenergized the lines, but after inspection, turned them back on. It was later found that the lines were faulty after the power was turned back on.
