Wildfire Pay Extension Passes House, Moves to the Senate.
Creates a 1-year extension of the supplemental pay or until a permanent fix is passed.
The House of Representatives has passed a Bill that will extend the supplemental pay for wildland firefighters by one year or until a permanent fix is in place. Idaho Representative Mike Simpson added the Amendment to the Interior Appropriations Bill, which will now move on to the Senate for a vote.
