Brittany is a class act and did a fantastic job explaining what it’s like when you’re left at home and how to succeed in that. I’ve been a military wife through multiple deployments, am a veteran myself, have been a firefighter and dated one so I know both sides of that coin well. She nailed it.
I have been a fire wife for 42 years. Brittany had some very valid points. Now that my kids are grown and moved away, I have joined my husband's IMT as a GISS and have been doing that for 9 years now. If you can't beat 'em...join em!😅🤣 It's not easy, for sure. Thanks for a great podcast!
Thank you for this interview. This hit home as a 25-year fire wife, aka fire widow.
Very nice, (and important), perspective offered here. You seek and provide a diversity of topics and subject matter in the "Wake Up". - Appreciated.
