I found it curious. When reading reports on the situation the defenders of these actions seem to come from international NGOs. They say they are defending their lands taken from them in the 16th century. I believe some NGOs see this action as a legitimate protest.

Id never heard of these folks but for the chilean govt to declare them an illegal (as opposed to a-legal one?)terrorist group find it fascinating that looking up the fact they are described as militant takes it a step further than just protesters. So much bigger issue here now it looks

Eco terrorist, so what ag resource would they want to destroy or deprive of that fits that definition and iF so, then who would chile be trading with that these eco terrorists don’t like? And is that trade partner someone the eco terrorists don’t like and are trying ti hurt as well? Thats a far cry from a simple arsonist.

Reading the article i cant help but think theres a bigger issue here.

That is a pretty wild situation for sure.

It was widely reported that this group CAM in 2021 declared war on all "capitalist operations."

Farms, timber, everything.

Therein lies the bigger picture, wipe out supplies and infrastructure its easier to take what u want and does not require military hardware.
