We talk to Ludie Bond about the upcoming fire season in Florida.
Ludie Bond has been a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist/Public Information Officer with the Florida Forest Service for the last 20 years. Bond works in the Waccasassa Forestry Center/District 8, which is comprised of five counties: Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy, Marion, and Putnam.
After Utah designates $14M to cloud seeding programs, the Feds give Region 4 States an additional $2.4M to expand seeding programs there.
Alaska Smokejumpers start their season. Paracargo missions and training jumps have started.
