Thanks for another good podcast. To touch on the supplement thing for what its worth, when folks pick up their protein powder, creatine, or whatever, get sandwich bags without the zipper, scoop a serving size into the corner of the bag, tie a knot at the top, cut off the excess plastic. Now you have single serving supplement packs for your roll so bring what you need. Takes up less bin space than the entire bag or container, tear off the knot pour it in whatever. If your getting flown in you can throw a handful in your line gear and two weeker and your good to go. I'm sure at some point during the shift you'll have an empty gato bottle in your pack. New guys, don't use your nalgene for the protein because it will start to smell like BH in a couple days. I also recommend fiber capsules and multi vitamin. You gotta do what you gotta do when your eating MRE's, and catered food. I've been doing the fire thing for awhile now, searching for the secret sauce when it comes to off season PT. The only thing I can come up with so far is consistency and sleep.
