I am a huge fan of Greek yogurt. That and have a scoop of whey protein helps me jump start my day - smoothies, yogurt and homemade granola and some fruit, mayo replacement on chicken salad, etc… Huge protein loading from this stuff. I am no where needing the calories of a firefighter, but I am doing this to rebuild my muscles and have a healthier lifestyle.

As a lead safety officer for one of ODF’s IMT’s, it is always a great reminder about nutrition and how it can impact not only ones performance during a fire assignment, but also throughout the season. Great topic and keep covering these great topics!

Great listen as usual! Jessie mentioned her ideal list of supplements. Did she get this to you or do you have information where I can retrieve the information? I just turned 60 this month. Still lacing up the Nicks and strapping on the line pack… just not as fast as I used to be. Want to change how I treat my self. Thanks again. JB
