Mid Week Brief: Congress Meets to Discuss Wildfires and the Impacts on the Nation.
I cover what was discussed and where the policy is going. Money, Money, Money, Money... Oh... and everyone's house is going to burn down. The Good, The Bad, The Ridiculous, and The Absurd.
On Today’s show:
Congress called in a panel to discuss the effects of wildfire on the economics of the country. They discussed the policy that’s coming soon and asked for suggestions on how to move forward.
Many things came up that I didn’t expect. Yes, it got political. Yes, they used The Calf Canyon and Hermits Peak Fires as examples of how bad wildfires are getting… without saying they were escaped prescribed burns. I provide an entertaining synopsis of it all.
It’s coming, so plan accordingly.
