On Today’s Show:

  • I follow up on the permanent seasonal hiring for those asking and give an update on “Demob Ridge.”

  • Portugal fires continue to burn. Over 50 have been injured, and fatalities keep rising—a massive amount of resources called from all over Europe.

  • Updates on the California fires: San Bernadino and Big Bear Sheriffs say looting arrests continue. Up to 8 arrests so far of individuals entering evacuated areas.

  • Manufacturing of wildfire Scooper planes resumes after Europe places a $1.2B order. New planes haven’t been manufactured in 10 years. We need long-term wildfire aviation contracts.

  • PG&E Power raised rates in California for the fourth time this year. They blamed wildfire costs for the increase, which the California Utility Commission unanimously approved.

  • Full operational update.

  • Plus more.
