On Today’s Show:
Idaho City Superintendent Brian Cardoza announced his retirement this week after 34 years in the industry and 21 years at the head of the Idaho City Hotshot Program. Not many can claim such a long and successful career.
I reminisce about the times I ran into Cardoza on the fireline in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada, among other places. It sparked a lot of memories of fires I’ve been on and the Hotshot life.
It’s a show filled with stories of hotshotting both on and off the clock, and a reminder that at the end of the day, we are all just humans trying to do the best we can.
