The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating the incident.
Oregon’s Governor wrote to the Feds to ask for emergency wildfire funds. The state broke its previous wildfire record by 700,000 acres.
The Governor says they cannot afford to reimburse local, tribal, and non-profits who helped them fight fire this season.
